I think he'll come good in time.

He's having a hard time of it at the moment and with Suarez stealing the limelight it's perhaps putting him under pressure hence why he's finding it difficult to peform.

I'm willing to give him a chance. The same can be said for Henderson, he's been thrust into the action and it might be a wise move by Kenny to Henderson a bit of a breather.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

I would have said Suarez being in the limelight should be taking the pressure off him, and allow him to go about his work more quietly.

I'm not sure what to make of him, I haven't written him off yet, but I don't think he'll make the impact I was hoping he would when we signed him...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

On current form he shouldn't be playing but he won't get better sat on the bench. Trouble is we look much better without him

I think we should give him until the end of the season. If, at that stage, he's still offering very little, get rid.

he form is crap - end of.....

he should be used as an impact player only. It was suggested that he would be perfect for the likes of stoke and sunderland - well he's fockin not,.......

i don't think his LFC career is over, however i do think that he should be used as an impact player until he really finds some form - play him into form by giving him 20 minutes here and there when we have games won.......

what is concerning though, is that when he plays, we play a different game - we become a hoof-team...... that is obviously the tactics that the team are being told to play when carroll is on the pitch and it needs to stop.....

What the above says. I still don't get why you'd leave him out of Bolton home, Stoke away then, knowing he's out of form, start with him away to Spurs.

I think he's been managed badly and should be coming off the bench last 20 mins until he settles.

I'm sorry for unwittingly repeating myself 3 times and causing such offence.

I did mention that at the time, IIRC, but was laughed at when I suggested he'd find it harder to settle at Liverpool than Suarez.

The switch was forced on him and I still don't think he wants to be in Liverpool. Does anyone know if he commutes or lives locally? Can't see any reason why he couldn't commute tbh, after all Owen did and Carroll's wages would surely stretch to a helicopter ride to and fro.

I should add that I was dead against signing a lump but that if Carroll was meant as a signing to fit in with our style of play then all well and good. As it's playing out, he's forcing a change in style (loosely termed) and it's not the direction I want to see us going in. Pretty sure he was unplayable as he ran through and unleased a shot from 30yrds with his foot against us. The tall-bloke-can-head-it tactics are bollocks

He showed more promise yesterday once we were trying to play keep ball in and around midfield. We stopped hoofing it forward and Carroll started to get in to the action more.

                              Start hoofing, stops Carroll

Its the ultimate big time charlie move that isn't it? Helicopters to work??

Its not unheard of to feel homesick after moving such a relatively short distance. Barry Ferguson left Blackburn for the same reasons, Shaun Maloney wanted back to Celtic...
