Im surprised some people havent learnt there lesson.
2 years ago, Craig, myself and a small handful of people were the only ones on here supporting Lucas. The rest said he was ****, not LFC material (whatever that supposed to be btw) he wasnt good enough to clean the **** off Mashers boots etc etc etc. Fast forward two years and the same gob****es who slated him on here and in the stands wouldnt dream of starting a game WITHOUT him. In fact Ive seen a few panicking in case he gets an injury. Now its not the fact that we havnet got cover, its the fact that he is genuinly a top top player.
I have every confidence that the big fella will do the business in time just like I and a couple of people did with Lucas. Like Craig has said so many times, the lad is 22 years old. Played just over a dozen games for us and has come back from a bad injury. The more pressure people stick on his young shoulders, the longer it will take to bed him in.
If we just let him get on with what we know he can do and ****ing forget about how much he cost then he will eventually become a great player for us.

To be fair plenty of us have supported Lucas since day one and saw the potential in him right away.

I backed Lucas all the way from day one. This is why I am not making any judgement on Carroll at the moment, likewise as Lucas he has immense potential.

I am not interested in the cost. The way I see it we swapped one player for two players (Torres out, Suarez and Carroll in) and we got the better deal

I have to hold up my hand & say i didnt rate Lucas in his first year or two here and didnt think he'd become good enough. He's now a key player. Fair play to him.

There were a FEW who I remember that saw the potential in him, Craig obviously not one of them but me point is, Carroll imo has got bags of potential and he is very young. He just looks ****ed for his age so I reckon people assume he's older that what he actually is.

No need to be sarcastic dick, my point was that some fans are too inpatient. When a player has potential then they should be nurtured and cared for not ****ing slated and abused.

Attitude, Carroll shows the same as Lucas and he'll be fine, he has the tools in his locker imo, but attitude is my biggest worry with big Andy.

I didnt rate him. 'Hate' or 'dislike' never came into it. The only people who have represented LFC that i hate (off the top of my head) are Diouf and Bodgson. Obviously H&G too.
