I still can't believe that WHU paid such amount of money.

not that LFC was any better, but he's not worth 15mil.

I'm more worried about how baked he looks. Wider eyes than Uma Thurman.

Seemed a nice bloke, not his fault we spunked 35mill on him. I will always have a soft spot for him, hope he does well in the rest of his career.

    shame

glad he's gone now and off our books. I'm not even arsed about the loss we had on him - had some blue noses ripping me/lfc about paying £35m and losing all that money on him

i just replied with well i was at wembley for the semi final against the blue ****e and he scored the winner, so for that alone i am grateful, it's worth the £20m hit just to know that he beat you!

Andy Carroll unlikely to make West Ham's Premier League opener, says Sam Allardyce

Undoubtedly the worst bit of business the club have ever been involved in but getting rid of him also has to be up there with Torres as the best.

Everyone's entitled to go out and have a good time, but FFS, this guy is supposed to be a £35m footballer. Can't believe we paid that for him.

I wouldn't want to go on the piss with him. He's probably stumble, fall and accidentally glass me.

I like Carroll - and I'd do pretty much anything I could to trade with him.

    Agree with you both.

He's just a regular bloke really (apart from the millions ) and doesn't seem to give a **** about anything.

Which is probably a massive factor in him never making it as a top player.

I'd love to go out on the piss with him.

I'll always have a soft spot for him. As Bob and Shaggy say, seems a sound person, no strings attached.

    Miss you Andy xoxoxox
