Too many **** buys.
The **** buys are going to set us back a fair bit.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

We'd be lucky to get 8 million. But look on the bright side we will go down in the history books as the club that made the worst signing in football history.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post

Guess so. Phew. We'd be lucky to get 8 million. But look on the bright side we will go down in the history books as the club that made the worst signing in football history.
At least it made some kind of sense for Chelsea to buy Torres.
Oh, and from a charity perspective, we gave Newcastle the chance to buy good players and overtake us in the league. Which is nice for them.Last edited by Kenneth; 21-01-12, 08:51 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

I gets so frustrated watching him.Originally posted by NigelLG View Post
It's already painful watching him. There's nothing more to say on him. Poor guy. Wrong club.
I remember seeing him late in the second half he got the ball right on edge of the Bolton's box but his first touch took him back to the half line..Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

I've kept pretty quiet on Carroll as I had convinced myself (more out of hope?) that he'd come good. As every game passes, that has deteriorated and I just don't see it happening. Gutted
Kenny has rightly backked him publicly, but I'd love to know what he genuinely thinks the future holds for Carroll.

Aye, it was his big opportunity to step up in Suarez's absence. He's failed.Originally posted by Reece View PostI've kept pretty quiet on Carroll as I had convinced myself (more out of hope?) that he'd come good. As every game passes, that has deteriorated and I just don't see it happening. Gutted

Bellamy had a similar amount of touches...Originally posted by NigelLG View PostHe had 37 touches of the ball until deep into the second half apparently. That's an appalling record. Our game is based on pass and move football. FFS.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Why can't Carrol be given a run of 20 games with the ressies. Andy Morgan and Ecclestone could do with a few matches in the first team!!!!
... and then lets buy Jordan Rhodes and Luic Remy to add some competition up front!!- - - - -
