    Hello mert.

Ha ha, you do read some nonsense on the internet.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Hmm, it would be cheaper to keep him if that were true wouldn't it?

        Comment

Exactly, let him play with U21's for a couple of years and then sell him for whatever profit.

Quite right, if its all about the money then he can rot his career away with us. The world will have moved on by the time he comes out of 'prison'.

I can't believe he's a millionnaire anyway. Gives pub players everywhere a glimmer of hope.

Those figures are mental, but this bit...

it is virtually unheard of for a club to ditch a marque signing with such a long period outstanding on his contract.
is worrying, and all things considered, i don't think we're done with being ****ed over for some truly eye watering amounts on this crazy crazy purchase.

the ex oldham, now leeds striker, matt smith is probably about or just above andy carroll's level.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

the fact that carroll will be signing a long contract for 100k [all speculation of course] will mean it is in his interest to leave us and move. this makes the negotiating the ending of his LFC contract easier for us.
i reckon at the most he will get a third of his outstanding contract paid up by us.

its still a major **** up.

                            Worst Marky signing ever.

In hindsight it was a catastrophic error by FSG to put him in charge of transfer policy, no matter how big his guns. The bar ban alone should have deterred them.
                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Is it that unusual for a big signing to leave after 3 seasons (even if one was 1/2) when it hasn't worked out? I'm not so sure.

Has to be noted this 'worst signing ever' was not under Souness, Hodgson or even Houllier. Sadly, it was under a legend who had history with this sort of bad buys (Celtic/Newcastle). We will all forgive but how can we all forget?
