Thanjk you.

I don't believe the club would allow a situation were we would have to have to pay the remainder of a contract up in full. I can imagine he's hankering after a lump sum and I can imagine his agent wants to take a slice, but £15 million? No chance.
Those figures are mental, but this bit...
it is virtually unheard of for a club to ditch a marque signing with such a long period outstanding on his contract.
is worrying, and all things considered, i don't think we're done with being ****ed over for some truly eye watering amounts on this crazy crazy purchase.
the fact that carroll will be signing a long contract for 100k [all speculation of course] will mean it is in his interest to leave us and move. this makes the negotiating the ending of his LFC contract easier for us.
i reckon at the most he will get a third of his outstanding contract paid up by us.
its still a major **** up.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
In hindsight it was a catastrophic error by FSG to put him in charge of transfer policy, no matter how big his guns. The bar ban alone should have deterred them.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Is it that unusual for a big signing to leave after 3 seasons (even if one was 1/2) when it hasn't worked out? I'm not so sure.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Has to be noted this 'worst signing ever' was not under Souness, Hodgson or even Houllier. Sadly, it was under a legend who had history with this sort of bad buys (Celtic/Newcastle). We will all forgive but how can we all forget?
