Just an observation really. A lot of his minutes appear to have been against pretty crappy teams so I suppose it stands to reason. Nothing wrong with using him more against certain types of teams either. Not very impressive goal record really, but then we knew that. Hopefully he's finding his feet.

You could conceivably qualify for the CL by just beating the crap teams, so if we've got someone who delivers against the crap teams, that's a positive thing, not a negative one.

If does deliver more then yes. Although if his presence hinders us against the better teams, than that wouldn't be positive, you can't always win against the crappy teams. Anyway, touch wood he keeps this form going into next season and we boost the quality of the MF to help him out.
