Think Swansea will be a good move for him and much better for his development that stagnating in our reserves. Hope he does well, but would be quite saddened if he ended up somewhere like Chelsea or Spurs in a few years.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

@Anky21 Sorry, no idea. All I know is that he's likely to make a decision between Swansea and Palace today.

Swansea is probably a better footballing option, but Palace is closer to "home" for him

Seems to have lost his way since his red against Utd. Comes across as thinking he's already made it too. Hope we insert a buy-back or sell on fee clause as he has the raw ingredients. Just a bit lacking mentality wise I feel

I know he's a Southerner, but surely Swansea is a no brainer?

That said I still don't think he suits their style of football. At all.

Sarb was chatting up his ex (he does that a lot on Twitter!) and she said he was a cocky little ****.

FWIW I think he was always cocky when we bought him, and I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, if harnessed in the correct way. Sadly for him he just didn't seem to learn and kept making the same mistakes.

Ex girlfriend? No longer dating a man earning millions. Can not think why she would have an axe to grind

He oozes cockiness. Sometimes he'd come on for Henderson in Jordan's first season and it'd be like night and day - Henderson's meek, timidness replaced by Jonjo's swagger and cocksure confidence, demanding the ball off the likes of Gerrard and kicking off when he didn't get it. I liked that. But it's a fine line between that and cocky, misplaced arrogance.

Players seem to like playing under Holloway and the situation at Swansea is a bit iffy at the moment

Presumably he also played under Holloway when he went on loan to Blackpool and scored a few goals.

Yeah, that's what I meant Shaggy. He'll know what to expect from Holloway and will presume he'll get decent game time. Plus Selhurst will mean him being back 'home'.

FWIW, I think Swansea might struggle this season. Europe will be a distraction and their form in the second half of the season was dire. I would choose Palace over them

Ah that is true, good point. Could see that swaying his decision actually. Holloway loved him while he was there. He would feed his ego no doubt.

Wasn't someone on here working with his ex-girlfriend? Can't remember who it was. Least I wait until it's an ex-girlfriend of an LFC player. You were chatting up Luis Alberto's girlfriend before he even signed

He just comes across a bit cocky. I might be wrong. I thought he was good at the start of the season, just never got over his red card against Utd. Rash tackles just crept into his game and was a walking red card. Not sure if it's true but apparently he was hammered at an event the night before the City game at home.
