Today at work a manc came and chucked a banana at me and was laughing about it and saying Scotland fans were racist, this coming from someI think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. 1) we only know half of the story
2) how racist can a banana be????

Bananas are largely associated with 1980's terrace racism so I'd say yes, chucking bananas at black players is a no go area in modern sport.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.Comment

The tarring of the Tartan Army with the Old Firm brush on this thread is disappointing and shows a remarkable lack of knowledge on the part of many posters. Whilst there is no doubt the Old Firm fans have acted like cunts many many times over the last few years do bear in mind that they bear no resemblance to the Tartan Army at all.
And briefly in their favour the "literally hundreds of arrests at every Old Firm game" is woefully inaccurate. The most recent record number is 34 which is of course damning. "Hundreds" is hyperbolic at best.
