The thing is last night, with the players at his disposal at home in the Champions League semi final Mourinho got his tactics wrong. If he had got them right Real would not have lost 2 nil.

Mourinho gets it right more often than not - I don't think his tactics last night were that special. I would imagine the majority of Real supporters would agree.

They lost 2-0 simply because Barca had the man advantage.

Barca weren't posing any threat to the Real defence prior to the sending off.

Go down to 10 men against a team with Messi in it, you're in serious bother.

I agree with you, but i also dont know what tactics WOULD work vs this Barca side. I think Mourinho's tactics werent far off, but the team didnt manage to successfully execute them for 90 mins. The red didnt help but i thought it was the correct decision.

I agree, defeating this Barca team is probably going to be one of the biggest challenges in football just now. But I think you need some sort of plan other than containment (if I knew what it was I'd be touting myself as Mourinhos replacement) he surely has to play something more than 'give the ball to Ronaldo and hope he does something with it'. Adebayor looked out his depth to me so bringing him on was just to provide a target man - very un Madrid like, and if Adebayor was going to claim anything last night it was a red card. So I am not sure how he couldn't fit Higuain into the team. Ozil is a talent, but seemed wasted last night, and if Kaka can only get on the bench then **** knows what the plan is.

Uefa has charged Real Madrid and Barcelona over incidents in their Champions League semi-final, including Jose Mourinho's post-match outburst.

The Real case also centres on the dismissals of midfielder Pepe and manager Mourinho and the behaviour of their fans during Wednesday's match.

Uefa is also looking at the red card shown to Barca reserve keeper Jose Pinto at half-time in their 2-0 win.

Both cases will be heard by the Uefa Control and Disciplinary Body on 6 May.
