    WTF?

It's a shame Rafa wasn't a good man manager or he might have had the balls to actually deal with the situation. Trolling

How much will City get for Tevez in January? Will they get £20m? They could before this easily got £30m at least.

In the end it will cost City a lot of money and it will cost Tevez a lot of respect.

The player should be forced to pay the difference out of his own pocket.

It isn't about balls when the manager is up against a player like Totti or Raul or in our case Carra.

Rafa had no chance whatsoever to win a battle against Carra. Carra is bigger than Rafa. The manager had no chance to win a battle against Raul and the manager at Roma have no chance to win a battle against Totti,

What would the reaction been at a club like us, Roma or Real if the manager had challenged the player in question?

Villas Boas must get Lampard and Terry on his side or he will also leave. The board must also back him 100% if Lampard or Terry challenge him.

They don't have like we now have a manager that no player can speak up against.

Kenny is king Kenny and he will win every battle against every player in the squad 10 times out of 10 because of who he is. He is the king.

What would the reaction in the dressing room and the supporters be if he sacked the player? Would he have a chance to keep his job? The financial side then isn't important in this case.

This thread is about player power as much as it is about Tevez because that is what it is all about. Player power.

It's a shame that Rafa never had the charisma and strength of character to have that presence around the team. Still trolling

Nah - start a new thread about generic player power.
                      Oh I don't know.

This Tevez thing has been a MASSIVE story, on sports news and even on regular news bulletins.

How come, when Carra 'refused to play right back', it was never reported as a news story on any sports news? Carragher, the local boy, long-serving LFC legend in the making, refuses to play rightback - it would've been a massive story. But it never was.

Why do you suppose that is?
