That's the thing with a lot of these 'great deals' they tend to be of comparatively unknown players going from a weaker league to a bigger one. It is clear that one of the things we have been looking for is players who can come in, integrate quickly and be as likely as possible to hit the ground running.

We got a great deal on Suarez all things considered. I think we are doing better with most of our deals than people make out.

Problem is they're a bigger draw than us at the moment - best club side in the world and in the CL next season - we're on the way back but we need to build a squad capable of getting back into the top 4 which I think we're doing - next summer I hope to see some more players like Suarez coming in.

Ridiculous really.

Even with 11m+ in add ons bases on appearances they have a significant advantage over the other clubs to acquire top notch players for less than market value as players want to join them and are prepared to throw the transfer in request every time in need be just to get there.
