It's all about the money. It's so ****ing sickening, it boils my blood.

Watch him now start to complain about racism after a couple matches. WTF is he expecting playing over there.

You can't call a move like this greedy. As already mentioned, it is so much money involved that any player that turn that down would be an idiot.

He will earn twice as much as Messi FFS.

You are probably right but he can still play at the highest level so he could have stayed in Serie A or move to England to test himself for a year or two and then sign for them when already passed his peak in the same way Carlos did.

Money would be there for him either way.

Even if you were already more than set up for life & if it mean the threat of physical harm looming over you, your family & home?

Effectively retired with that move........and it's not like he was short of a few quid to begin with. A move to one of the top leagues would still have been rewarded with the huge wages he has become accustomed to.
Too much to turn down ?........ Not too much to trade in the remainder of his football career apparently, not to mention the potential issues of playing there.
Give it a month before he's looking to get out, which I hope wouldn't be made easy by the terms of his contract.

                            And they might.

Didn't think that will sign Pastore so soon and they did.

This can easily happen as well.

Leonardo will probably make sure of that. Great move by PSG to make him sporting director. He is behind many of Milan very good transfer deals the last few seasons.

                                Tottenham snare Juve man
Wide-man follows Adebayor into White Hart Lane

Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Iago Falque on a season-long loan, as the Juventus midfielder follows Emmanuel Adebayor into White Hart Lane.

The signing of the 21-year-old Spaniard was announced a short while after Adebayor joined in a similar arrangement from Manchester City.

Spurs are short of options in midfield thanks to injuries to the likes of Sandro, Steven Pienaar and unsettled star Luka Modric.

A statement on Spurs' official website read: "We are delighted to announce the signing of Iago Falque on a season-long loan from Juventus."

Falque started his professional career at Barcelona before moving to Juventus, where he has been loaned out to Bari and Villarreal B over the last two seasons.

The Spain Under 21 international is the third youngster to arrive at White Hart Lane this summer following the signings of former Barcelona player Cristian Ceballos and 16-year-old Souleymane Coulibaly from Siena.

Spurs have also been strongly linked with a move for Real Madrid's Lassana Diarra, although he appears pessimistic about his chances of a move to White Hart Lane.
