How on earth is that even possible though? I honestly think if I'd spent approximately 3,400 minutes on a football pitch I could have somehow via a mispass, deflection, a ball dropping to me at a corner or a sheer ****ing flukey strike managed at least a bloody assist if not a goal

People are entitled to slag the players off (albeit as soon as they come good, they will say no one slagged them, it was constructive criticism and that it paid off ) but to repeat the same crap time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time again is pretty tedious. I don’t get what satisfaction at all they get out of it themselves but it’s pretty boring for the rest of us to repeatedly read.

But you could have just saved time by saying I think every British player is **** (despite admiting to not watching much football) but if it's a fancy foreign name then I'll Wiki the **** out of them and proceed to tell everyone how much I know about them and how great they are gonna be.

TBH, I don't. I scan over a most posts that don't interest me which is why I can't understand the need for a formal ignore function and why after a while Craig didn't bother me.

Obviously I have certain soft spots that are easily triggered despite my best efforts to show restraint.

I used the ignore function twice before for few days but i'm incredibly nosey so had to stop using it

Just playing Devils advocate, seeing that we hit the woodwork more than 30 times that season, is it possible that Stewie would have had a fair number of assists had they converted those chances!????

Downing hit the woodwork himself about 6/7 times. It could have been different.

But it's a real shame that his mentality is so weak as to require things to happen for him.

He could easily have a good season next year. He's a confidence player, pure & simple. No different to many others like Crouch & Torres in that respect.
