downing can play whether we use a target man or not. hes got enough about his game to suggest that he can adapt to any team.

I really like him and the fact that carroll isnt ready for this level and suarez conversion rate is appalling isnt his fault. eventually wide players get bored of.putting the ball into the.box. especially if they dont have confidence in the strikers.

AVB doesnt rate torres and he wont be a part of his rebuilding program at chelsea. hes a very expensive substitute and theres no way AVB will want him hanging around the place.
