Arsene Wenger confirms Arsenal have received bids for club captain Thomas Vermaelen and hints that Manchester United could be one of those bidders.

He says: "Yes [there have been bids]. I can't tell you who but you will know very soon. I think they [Man Utd] could be in the group.

Hope they get Bilbao or Besiktas, better if Lille get someone easier, better for Origi to get through. In reality Arsenal won't have trouble with anyone of these teams IMO.

Can't comment on how good they are, but when we played Besiktas in the CL a few years back, it was one of the best/most intimidating atmospheres I've ever experienced (from my sofa).
