If they get Nasri then they will have 3 technically superb attacking players in Nasri, Augero and Silva

They might still have Tevez, at least until January a front 6 of Tevez, Augero, Nasri, Silva, Toure and De Jong to hold would tear most teams to pieces

I'm well aware of this, it was more said in awe of his ability and how I would have loved to see him in a red shirt.

Err, we were in Europe in January, and missed out on it by a whisker in May.

Whatever I say has no bearing on what happens in the club. You think Kenny, Commoli, Henry, Werner et al come on here to read what you or I say?

Its funny you talk about having a defeatist attitude and after 1 game you have decided to call us a mid table team.

Get a grip ffs. Kenny has bought a team, We ****ed up pre-season by not playing that team for wahtever reason, but then I saw plenty in that first half that showed us that we will do well.

I think as the season goes on we will get better and more effective as a unit and would bet my left bollock we finish higher than midtable.

You are judging lots of these players after 1 game and your fear of how **** they are from your pre-concieved opinion of them.

I think they will surprise you.

I dont think they are ****, just not top quality and of the standard that we might've been able to get, for the amount of money spent.

When i said about 'effectively' midtable, i was referring to 7th and 6th, which isnt a whole lot far off it.

I hope people like Henderson and Downing do surprise me and make me glad we opted for them, instead of someone like Kun.
