Unbelievable- another great let down from those who have sworn to protect public interests, it's a disgrace.

Which means no comment and hope it will go away before we have to apply our rules and ban him for x amount of games.

          Surely that should be conduct?

Or have they already made their mind up and fitting the evidence to back it up?

I can't believe the BBC's 'highly likely' error. And it's still there. That's very poor journalism. Gives pretty much the opposite impression to what the judgement was getting at.

I think they were in the process of their investigation before the police took over

It's ****in appalling. It's surely no accident.

                    So,
Weighing all the evidence together, I think it is highly unlikely that Mr
Ferdinand accused Mr Terry on the pitch of calling him a black cunt.
However I accept that it is possible that Mr Terry believed at the time, and
believes now, that such an accusation was made
So the FA need to decide whether, on the balance of probabilities, it is likely that Terry did believe this, given the 'reliable' Ferdinand's statement that he didn't say it.

Definitely a case to answer by any measure.

I made a complaint, as I'm sure many other people did.

                      They've changed it to

"In his written judgement, he said that after weighing the evidence it was "highly unlikely" that Mr Ferdinand accused Mr Terry of racially abusing him however he said it was possible that Mr Terry believed at the time that an accusation had been made."

Not just on-line either, I've listened to 5 live for the last 2 hours, and on the JT thing, the news headline reader every time go's with......

"The judge said it was highly unlikely that Mr Terry abused Mr Ferdinand in the manner he was accused of".

I've heard it about 3 times now, every time the news reader uses the same sentence.

                        Incredible.

his lawyer, Dan Morrison, said outside: "The court has today acquitted John Terry of all charges.

"He did not racially abuse Anton Ferdinand, and the court has accepted this."
                          Not it hasn't.

Is there a reliable account of this story online anywhere?

I was wondering if there was an actual court transcript available to the public.
