Apart from the racial undertones, this sort of banter goes on all the time in sport.
The Aussie spin bowler Shane Warn (sp) once asked the English batsman if he could come and visit him after the test serious had finished.
"Of course you can Warny"
"Good, I want to visit my kids"
Quality put down by the Aussie. Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

It's an interesting psychological bias we all have to some extent, and is especially relevant when it comes to the public perception of celebrities.Originally posted by Alex View PostIt all feels to me like people are happy for Terry to go down regardless. Which is wrong. He is a cunt of a human being, but that's not enough to see you in court. The racism charge is just something people can get hold of to beat him. It's not just people on here, it's everywhere.
The same happened with Suarez, which is why it's not right.
Edit: Forgot to say. If he is found innocent, I guess people will be annoyed. Not because they feel justice isn't being done, but because the CPS couldn't nail him now. That's totally wrong. Racism in any form sickens me. But if he is found innocent, then he is just that. We have to move one, otherwise we will look even more bitter and twisted than we are.
They live seemingly amazing lives and rarely have to answer for themselves the same way normal people do, so when there's a chance they can be punished, everyone leaps at it, because we need a justification for why we can't be like them. As in, 'I could be rich and famous like Terry but I'm not a racist philanderer, which is obviously what it takes.'

Aye it's true
In a hilarious misunderstanding, Terry was asked to repeat evidence that he had been sent off four times in his career.
“Can you say, please, four times?” asked his QC, George Carter-Stephenson.
“Please, please, please, please,” Terry responded.
Guffaws of laughter broke out around the courtroom at the misunderstanding, which was a result of the judge asking Terry to speak up.
The footballer appeared confused by response from the courtroom. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
