Depends really, whether people want him to be found guilty because he is\was guilty, and that's proven, or whether they could'nt care less if he was guilty or not, but still want him to be found guilty.

this is very true. maybe the Liverpool fans wouldnt want to see jt hung high and dry if it wasnt for the fa's condemnation of suarez, and their subsequent support [through lack of action] of jt.

You're right of course. I want Terry to be found guilty because I have a shallow dislike, not because i feel justice needs doing. I don't feel that because I don't believe him calling Anton Ferdinand a black cunt is a big deal. It would be very unpleasant, but I don't think it would have had a profound effect on him, I don't think his life would have been impacted in any meaningful way at all in fact. The racism that does sicken me is when people are disadvantaged, emotionally damaged, have their self confidence impacted, face a continued assault becasue of their race etc. Things of importance to the lives of the victims. Edit: Forgot to say. If he is found innocent, I guess people will be annoyed. Not because they feel justice isn't being done, but because the CPS couldn't nail him now. That's totally wrong. Racism in any form sickens me. But if he is found innocent, then he is just that. We have to move one, otherwise we will look even more bitter and twisted than we are.

Probably yes. But we all got educated in this area because of it, so my sympathys changed. I'm not sympathetic towards Terry because of who he is, but I am to anyone that is wrongly accused of something they are not.
