If he is found guilty he will get a ban from the FA. So I assume not guilty means he will have nothing happen from the FA. If a court of law finds him not guilty I dont see how the FA can or will go against it. Same for if he is guilty.

It's a higher burden of proof required in a court of law, even if someone is found not guilty in a court of law the matter can still be pursued in a court of law, in this case the FA hearing would be similar to a civil court. If the FA do nothing it would be a joke, whatever happens in the court of law.

If it happens on the pitch and he gets found guilty then the FA have to ban him. Regardless of who he is.

No, they don't have to ban him at all. They could quite easily play the card he's already been punished in court and as it's been dealt within a court of law the FA have no right or need to interfere - or something like that.

Don't forget which organisation we're talking about here with the FA, ask yourself this question why was the trial held this far after the offence?

Rubbish, the trial is this far back because thats how slow the legal system works in this country.

Name me one line of work when you wont get punished by an employer/regulator if a criminal act was committed whist doing a job. There is none.

Rubbish, it was put back conviently to start just after the Euros & I don't believe it was for any other reason that that.

Of course I am utterly jaded by the FA, and I do expect them to use the outcome of the courts to decide which action if any to take i.e. not guilty - no punishment and if guilty either no action due to him being punished in the courts already OR a low level ban - there has been a precident set with Suarez in terms of the length of ban, if he is found guilty in court I'd expect at least as long and to be honest a longer ban due to it beng from the courts; I'd be shocked if this is the case in reality.

I think its pretty routine to have a court hearing delayed with a good reason. I guess we will all find out what they plan on doing if guilty in a few weeks.

I cant really see more than an 8 game ban though. If thats what was set with Suarez, then they cant really increase/decrease as they want.

What stinks is that there is no footage whatsoever of Suarez saying what he was alleged to have said. If they strung him out on the basis of Evras word then they should do the same to Terry based on Ferdinands.

I doubt he'll be found guilty tbh. But it will be interesting to see if the FA persue it with their lower standard of proof. If there is testimony from players then it would seem pretty similar to the Suarez case, but without the language ambiguity.

They, have managed to play this out down specific channels which allowed him to play for the rest of the season, play in the euros, most likely exit out of Chelsea, and drag it out till after the Olympics when after all is said and done, the Press have long lost there Moral Appetite to change the world make it a better ****ing place for you and for me and the ...entire bunch of cunts human race ...
