    David Cameron has been overheard criticising footballer John Terry during the G8 summit, according to off-mic comments overheard by those sleuths over at ITV News.

    Speaking to German chancellor Angela Merkel ahead of the Champions League final in Munich on Saturday evening, the prime minister was heard saying it was "good" he was not playing for Chelsea in the match.

    ITV, who overheard the PM, picked up Cameron saying:

    Merkel: John Terry is not there..

    Cameron: That's good

    Merkel: Don't you like him?

    The prime minister then appears to indicate Terry has said some "bad things". Terry has been charged and is due to stand trial after allegedly racially abusing Anton Ferdinand.

      Watch his lawyer play the 'how can we expect a fair trial now' card after this.

      @Cameron getting caught on tape.

          It was hilarious how Bosingwa and the other Chelsea players totally hijacked Terry/Lampards trophy lifting moment.

                But the same format allowed us to win the CL in 2005.
                Are we winning?

                  It was difficult to watch, but trust me it was funny because you can barely see Terry and Lampard lifting the trophy. They get smothered by the guys in front of them. In particular Bosingwa.

                          they wanted a super league, but uefa baulked, so they changed the format to keep the clubs under their control.

                            The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                                Terry's legal team to consider using bad character defence against AF. Some comment caught on tape apparently. Very big can of worms to risk opening
