They could have sung any song in the world, or chanted any old bile, but they didn't, and seeing as the target is two black football players, you have to wonder why that song.

It's not the song that's racist, it's who is being used in it I think. I dunno, my initial reaction and thoughts were that it was people looking for something that wasn't there. But the more I read and think about this I think I was wrong.

I don't even think it's who it's being sung about I think it's the context that it's set against. (Set against a different context I think you could sing the same song about the same people and it wouldn't be racist)

The fact that they mentioned Anton Ferdinand as well makes me very suspicious. Anton Ferdinand has very little to do with England other than the John Terry debacle. If it was just about Rio, then I wouldn't think it was racist, but the mention of Anton changes it.
