IIRC Suarez got a 4 match ban for the racial insult, & a further 4 match ban for the number of times (8) they claimed he said it. IF Terry is found guilty, he'll get a 4 game ban as it's only alleged he said it once. Got a horrible feeling the sly cunt will get away with it.

Terry admitted in court he said what he did, and the context it was used. But we all know context means nothing to the FA.

Too be honest, I think he deserves a ban for what he said, the same as Suarez did. But the Suarez case was muddied a little with cultural nuances. But the fact remains, Suarez said whatever he said, Evra took offence as he belived it to be racist, so he was banned.

Its an unpopular view I hold, I realise that. But its not one that's in a minority. At the time I was fuming with the decision, but in the cold light of day Suarez was stupid in the language he used.

Terry is stupid for repeating a phrase he thought he heard, but he is equally as guilty as Suarez.

Didn't the trial judge, on acquiting Terry, say his defence was implausible? I think he will now get ****ed by the FA, and rightly so. He's now stepped down from representing England so the FA have no incentive not to give him a long ban.
