In my resignation meeting I felt so free telling my boss I didn't like her and couldn't possibly work with her again. Really liberating when she launched back at me and I told her 'well looks like I've done well for both of us then doesn't it'. Silly cow was supposed to be trying to convince me to stay and did an appalling job of it

Very liberating. I had a meeting with my financial advisor just after this as our plan was for me to work until I’m 65 & I was 4 years short of that target. I told him I’m one argument away from telling the boss to jam it. He ran the numbers & announced that we’re on target so I can tell him to stick his job any time I liked. That was so liberating for me. Just 6 months to go now until I pack it in.

Does your old company pay your pension? Brave choice if it jeopardised that

No the government pays that. The employer pays into a government fund for our long service leave too as I’m a casual worker.

Milking it for another 12 months, then the appeal, he'll be out of contract before it gets finished, and ten hang out of a job lol

United will have paid him nearly £8 million while suspended by then.

United will surely have some legal recourse over that? Chelsea got Mutu for a small fortune although he was suspended and unavailable so I suppose that is somewhat different in this is their choice to suspend him. It might be a bag look to play him but they are technically free to do so - and then I suppose MU could argue that they would suffer consequences for doing so and cite the brands dropping him as evidence they would suffer backlash for playing him. If he is not convicted I imagine he will be horrifically unfit by then. Well, relatively for a footballer playing at the top level anyway

Apparently he can only be suspended for a maximum 14 days in theory he could return to training.

He is probably being paid to stay away!!

Heard they settled his contract until 31st Jan, but if he joins a club earlier than that its repaid to the start date. In addition some issues over his media and royalty rights still exist

Apparently they were served with notice when the termination was agreed they could not sell any shirts or merchandise with his name on it.

Would be shocked if anyone would be wanting to buy one now that didn't previously. Although some letters to Santa may need an edit
