Haha that must be some logistical nightmare… recalling all the merchandise, such as team calendars, where he’s one page, etc.

I don't think it is bad. They may have a larger stadium but it needs so much spending on it and you have to clear £500m+ plus of debts as well.

I am not sure it will have a big impact. Well I would hope not. I can see the Glaziers selling to however gives them the most money, where as I would hope FSG would sell to somebody who would suit the club and serve as good owners.

I can see Utd becoming another City state club. But either way it think it is safe to say that football will be the loser overall.

Who gives a **** if they are for sale. The derelict stadium is going to cost an arm and a leg to fix. Its a major problem for whoever considers buying that ****e

Depends on who eventually buys them.

A "regular" owner looking to get a good return on their investment many be put off by it.

A state looking to sportswash will not be as they can just throw as much money as they want at a project.

Personally I hope a state does not buy them as they are one of the big traditional clubs still.

I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I know he's not their player anymore but Ronaldo getting the ban from the FA for that incident with an Everton fan, just after he left them is surely the FA taking the piss?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Sir Alex must have made the call to the FA to call in another favour

Its thought the Stadium cost to upgrade is the real driver here. They are probably looking at a Spurs rebuild to bring them unto a decent standard, not sure how that can be funded under the Glazers.

I like how Barnay gets in his dig at an obviously unsatisfactory journey he has had on the West Coast Mainline in to his article.
