Not sure if anything has changed regarding this, but imo if he was going to sign for lfc he would have said so by now.

I think it's more likely the deal with Spurs is agreed, and they are holding off on an announcement untill the new manager is made public.

This is exactly the point. he has signed but won't be announced until AVB is finalised. Levy is bothered about how the club looks buying a player whilst having no manager.

IMO he's told Hoff to keep it secret too as when they made their announcement today they made sure they didn't give away any clues as to which club he had agreed with.

If he'd have chosen us we'd of heared about it by now given the deadline Hoff imposed for him to decide and the fact we have no reason, unlike Spurs, to delay the announcement.

Last week every man and his dog was claiming he'd signed for Spurs and it would be announced last week

Now those same Spurs "itks" are going back on this

Now Spurs might end up getting him but I have this sneaking feeling they havent tied it up just yet, there is no reason for Babbel to make those comments
