He's a die hard manc, don't think we need to read too much into his choice.

Are people seriously questioning FSG because we haven't signed Gylfi?

They stumped up £20m for Downing, £16m for Henderson and £35m for Carroll......

They have and will overpay to get players the manager wants. They have said there is never a budget and each player will be signed on their own merits.

I can guarantee that we didn't raise our offer because one man didn't think he was worth the fee/wages - Brendan Rodgers. And I think he'd know better than anyone else.

No question he wanted him - but not at the price that was required to pay.
                Forwards.......

Hardly a cunt for moving to Spurs. Disappointing but nevermind, that's football.

Yup, hopefully Brengun decided to put what he would have spent on Sigurdsson towards someone even better.

                      Every cloud and all that.

Our manager knows him better than spurs. If they offered more money then its because their judgement of his worth to them is different to our more informed one about his worth to us. We'll see whether spurs were right, but it still wouldn't mean we were wrong as we are probably better covered in that area.

                        Not a big deal imo.

And if it leaves us clear to go for the likes of Gaston R, I'm fine with that.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
