After the world cup i won about 800 quid on bets, we signed Joe Cole and Paddy Power were doing great bet (or so i thought) on Joe Cole to score 6 goals or more in the league that season.

Soooooooo... being the astute gambling genius that i am, i put 250 quid of my hard earned world cup winnings on it thinking that we had signed "Joe Cole!!! 6 goals in one season was a complete and utter no brainer", would have came out with a tidy sum.

Alas.... Joe gets sent off after 5 mins in his first game vs Arsenal and everything went down the ****ter after that.

I'd rather we didnt have to use him but he's only really got meaningful minutes 4 times this season and got 2 goals an 1 assist so fair play to him.

He seems a really good bloke to me, I'd love him to succeed. But he's *so* **** - his first five or six touches of the ball were painful. I think he gave the first four away.
