Plus they must be looking at addressing their defence and midfield, Shirley.

Still think a Torres + cash deal for Falcao is on the cards.

I reckon we could dig up a similar post from you last year about RVP to United.

        Fergie loves his strikers.

One wrong out of Villa, Sneijder, Lucas Moura and one or two others isn't bad.

RVP & Falcao partnership would be ridiculous!

United want to throw Chicarito into the deal too & United are guaranteed a champs league spot next year, Chelsea are still fighting for it.

Whoever Falcao goes, they will have some player on their hands. Would never rule United out though.

Seems in the premier league it's Man United/City & Chelsea battling for a certain standard of player, world class.

Then a second tier of Arsenal/Spurs & Liverpool battling for decent quality/potential at a lesser price.

I think if Rooney goes it'll be to PSG, but Nani seems to want out and Athletico could be a good option.

Atheltico getting Nani And Chicarito plus cash and considering Falcao wants to leave.. IMO would superb business for them.

Just can't figure out how this move makes sense unless Rooney leaves.

Both players are 27 so its almost like for like in their striker structure they have.

Would love Hernandez here personally but it would never happen, remember how Fergie nearly **** his kecks in a massive hissy fit over Heinze of all players.

He would surely be the Rooney replacement?

I have no idea as to who would want Wayne Rooney - seriously, who? He's overrated and hugely overpaid. They'd be saving money every week if they signed Falcao (as long as they find someone stupid enough to pay Rooney's wages)

They're pretty much lumbered with him now. How long does he have left on his contract? Anyone know?

                            Guillem Balague @GuillemBalague
Remember Fergie denying he signed De Gea? That's how it works. Falcao might or not go 2 MUFC but they are negotiating independent.co.uk/sport/football…
