I think he's rubbish. As that cross was coming in it seemed to go in slow motion and I had already envisaged him slicing it into his own net. For him to then actually go and do it was ****ing unbelievable. Inexcusably poor.

Maybe him playing on the left side of central defence does not help him one bit. I think Skrtel looked unsure as well when played there at some point.

He is a really bad fit for our team which is disappointing because I always had it in my head that we was the sort of defender who was no nonsense but who could bring the ball forward and find a pass. He's looking a shadow of the player I thought we was and needs to be used far more sparingly for a while

Think he is good as cover but for one thing he is completely uncomfortable playing on the left side, with Agger fit back to the bench he goes

He's a fantastic defender and I can't believe we got him on a free. Easily one of the best defenders in the league and how city could do with him in their team.

He was immense at Arsenal and is recreating his form here.

You know, I think he can even play in a position similar to Yaya Toure. So much power and strength and he certainly isn't no slouch. I would definatly consider him for there for the Palace game now Lucas is banned.

I'd put him in midfield just to give him more opportunities to get at the opponent's goal. He certainly deserves one (or two)!

I absolutely love this man. I love him. He makes me happy.

Been brilliant for us and such a likeable funny guy.

The man is a winner. So much appetite coupled with intelligence and ability. That alone will keep him on top for many years.

Seriously though, he's been tremendous for us. No way is he over the hill and just looking to pick up his wages. His enthusiasm on the pitch looks infectious and will do wonders for morale you'd think. No doubt he's taken Sakho under his wing too.

I don't remember him being this popular elsewhere but he's an absolute gem of a personality.

Surely we can keep signing world class players over 30 on a free transfer each season. This experience is vital to such a young team, and the defence especially. Id rather than than blow £25m on an up and comming player like Sakho.

The Kolo/Cissokho pairing is a bit worrying, even if the latter is doing a bit better now, but back alongside Agger I still think Kolo could perform well again.

Not likely though unless Skrtel picked up a bad injury.

Either way, he BR’s Pellegrino, so we do have any success this year we can assume it’s thanks to Big Kolo.
