TBF, they did alright. I know Leicester are hardly blowing teams away at the minute, but Newcastle restricted them to very few shots and the goal was offside (regardless of that second phase of play crap).
If they don't let the occasion get to them, they should beat Sunderland on Sunday and their position will be looking much better.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Don't watch a lot, or indeed any, of Newcastle's matches, but a geordie friend of mine said even in defeat they played much better than they have for a long time. He seems to think if they can perform at that level for the rest of the season then they should be fine.
They were much more solid than usual. Normally they're all over the place. He's got some work to do with them in attack though, they've barely got a goal in them.

I thought Mitrivoc made a nuisance of himself (I bet we'll struggle against him) and Wijanaldum made some decent runs off him. Sissoko and Perez offered nothing on the flanks though.
