There was a time when we could not compete with Chelsea and United for players. Now we can't compete with Spurs and our star player was pushing for a move to Arsenal all summer. But the TV rights income has doubled this summer. Tough time ahead for LFC.

As I said somewhere on here th other day....arsenal and united have struggled to sign anyone! Chelsea have only managed one 'big' signing, it's only city (billionaires) and spurs who have made big signings and it looks likely that spurs have managed to do by cashing in on their star player,

Granted we have a bigger gap to make up, but the squad is taking shape and for me one or two 'top' signings before the window closes would be brilliant and we still can do that
