The flipside of that is would it be fair to some of the younger players to chuck them into a losing run like the one we were on? Don't think our form/momentum is so good/stable that we can gamble with weakening a starting XI by too much.

Klopp tended to use younger players when the senior team was more established/in form.

Yeah I get that but we started the season well & Rio came off the bench & scored a winner & then we hardly saw him again during that time. And then selling Diaz & not replacing him , not replacing Diogo but suggesting it’d block Rio’s pathway but then don’t play him, selling Quansah, offloading Elliot etc doesn’t look good to the kids looking on in the Academy.
