Given his age, potential and Champions League performances against top sides isn't £13m just about fair?

we seem to put a valuation on player and not want to go any higher, which i do think is good practice but from the outside it looks like we go in with our valuation, the selling club add a few million so we pull out....
so why don't we value even lower and go in with that
- then when the selling club add a few million, it's not an issue
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Guy on RAWK saying that the we are his preferred destination and he's pushing for a move here, however, we made a bid and his agent told Ayre we were the only club interested, so Ayre went back with a much lower offer, which really pissed them off- so they are unlikely to sell to us...
Not sure if its true or the guy on RAWK is trustworthy...Originally posted by fah-qDidn't someone once see Philip Schofield ****ting into a crisp packet?

First week back at work, I'm struggling with my own name let alone jokes..Originally posted by RedReet View PostThe moment has passed, but was just joking about how when he was in the youth team he was hyped up to be the best player on the planet (like they all are haha), that started to fade once he established himself as a first teamer at 17, by 18 he was **** and not good enough for us, but now he’s 19 and doing okay again all is good.
I guess you needed to be there…
Nice one!

Imo it's too much.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostGiven his age, potential and Champions League performances against top sides isn't £13m just about fair?
This is a very important window for us as we do have a chance to finish in top 4.
We need to spend money that we have on a quality signing (1 hopefully 2), on a player that will be a first team player or realistically challenge for it and I'm not so sure that he's that as I think we already have a player in Sterling (as good or better atm), who also is unlikely to keep his spot in the starting lineup with Sturridge coming back.
We have already spent a lot this past summer on players that have not made much difference for us this season (Ilori, Aspas, Alberto etc.) so it is imperative that we get it right.Last edited by Mostar; 10-01-14, 11:39 PM.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

I think it's a reasonable amount for him, but agree with Mostar in that Sterling, whilst not exactly the same type of player is very similar in the role they both play. They're both lightning quick and skilful and are expected to play out wide
£13m could be spent on or contribute to a different type of player that will allow for different styles of playI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

my exact sentiments as he seems to be a typical match of the day player...only turns up when it mattersOriginally posted by 5europeancups View PostIn my opinion this guy is as good as jermaine pennant.
