Well I think people have seen him in the CL. And on Youtube. From what I've seen of him (admittedly little) I would find it an exciting signing.

I'd like to see him come in if only to add some much needed depth to the side.

When I've seen him play (a handful at most) he's looked an exciting player but it's surely got to be a big step up from playing in the Swiss leagues to that of the Premier League.

I'll say it again.

He played against Rafa's Chelsea twice and Spurs last season, plus Mourinho's Chelsea twice this season. Saw all six games and he stood out in pretty much all of them, scoring a couple of times against Chelsea and also against Spurs. Gave both the runaround. Basel looked a good side, and along with Valentin Stocker he was easily the standout player in most of those games.
