Thanjk you.

Matt are you on the same planet as the rest of us? ****ing hell.
No, I just am smart enough not to confuse conjecture with fact. You are talking about your opinion on a topic you know nothing about and are acting like it is fact. I don't think that is a good way to approach anything.
Made ourselves look as foolish as the Mancs did ****ing around on the last deadline day. Get these kind of deals done or you just look a bunch of idiots.

The transfer policy is about getting maximum value for what is spent so that we can build quality and depth.
I am as disappointed as anyone connected with Liverpool Football Club that we were unable to add further to our strike force in this transfer window, but that was not through any lack of desire or effort on the part of all of those involved.
They pushed hard in the final days of the transfer window on a number of forward targets and it is unfortunate that on this occasion we were unable to conclude acceptable deals to bring those targets in.
The ethos is to win. We will invest to succeed. But we will not mortgage the future with risky spending. The transfer window may not have been perfect but we are not just looking at the next 16 weeks until we can buy again: we are looking at the next 16 years and beyond. These are the first steps in restoring one of the world's great clubs to its proper status.
It will not be easy, it will not be perfect, but there is a clear vision at work. We will build and grow from within, buy prudently and cleverly and never again waste resources on inflated transfer fees and unrealistic wages. We have no fear of spending and competing with the very best but we will not overpay for players.
Or something like that...
**** it though - we've got a good squad, and enough to keep the fight up for top four or more. They'll have to make this up in the summer, so let's push on and get top four and we'll be in for the best available when they window opens again with Champions League football as a huge carrot to dangle.
I can buy the fact that Dnipro chairman or the agents might be difficult to deal with in this instance - but what about due diligence before setting off? If they've moved the goalposts, then fair enough if we walked away. BUT, this isn't an isolated incident with transfer dealings and the bit I don't buy is that it's nothing to do with Ayre. He's the negotiator in all these deals and it fills me with dread that such a mealy-mouthed muppet is in charge of the most important part of the process... FSG should have a proper commercial negotiator with him for all deals. In fact, Ayre should just leave well alone and go back to commercial and corporate dealings, and leave the transfer windows well alone.
Definitely not the ultra rich owner of Dnipro ****ing us around.....
Hopefully he looks really **** when he faces Spurs in a couple of weeks. Knowing our luck, he'll look a ****ing worldie and we lose a few more players to injuries!
