I am more disappointed with Lovren than Mario. We are getting exactly what it says on the tin from the Italian, no surprises, nothing new. Just plain old ****eness. He has a brilliant Agent who keeps conning so called football experts.

With Lovren he seems to have totally been overawed by the experience, I watched him a few times for Southampton and I was convinced he was the real deal, just what we needed but unfortunately he has produced nothing. I do hope he comes good because there is a good footballer in there. (Lovren, not Mario)

I'm not worried about Lovren. He will come good and be a decent player for us. He's not the leader that we needed though. But you judge a player when he leaves the club. Not when he signs. And it's the same for Mario. He's been 1/10 atm, but he's still here and as such can still end up being a bargain.

I agree about the bold but where will Mario suddenly find this form/change of attitude?

He can't even make the match day squad because he can't be arsed, but we all know he has never been arsed so what will change?

I don't know if Mario will change. There is nothing to suggest he will, other than slight improvements he's offered.

But I don't think there is any doubt he wants to succeed at Liverpool. I think he really likes it here. But if he wants to stay he will have to put the effort in. So I guess it comes down to how much desire he has as a player. I've seen it in him before. But it can't be on/off like a tap with Rodgers. You're either putting effort in all the time or you're out the door. He's got to the end of the season and I guess we can all judge him then.
