          Over 2000 posts in this thread, I have 30 of them (and about 10 of those today).

          That really is not "relentless" And I'm very disappointed in the likes of you Ved, seriously though white text has hardly caught anyone since about 2006. Never thought I'd say it but I miss Superdan!

              Is it not a bit strange when the minimum expected from a professional footballer earns him plaudits and respect? Oh how I bet Borini wishes he gets the same leeway from the fans

                            Brendan is the manager, Brendan dictates the tactics, Brendan picks the captain and Brendan orders who takes the penalties. And it's Brendan who carries the can if it goes tits up.

                            Balotelli changed the penalty taker and thereby ignored his manager's instructions and at the same time disrespected the captain by putting him in an invidious position. It was fortunate that Henderson didn't rise to it and let it go.

                            It's all about being part of a team and doing what you're selected for and not changing the rules to suit yourself.

                            Balotelli played well as a sub but it's about time considering how much he cost and how many chances he's had.

                            Also because of his behaviour I'd say he's still a way off showing he's worth the money and efforts spent on him.
