He's right though,the lad doesn't deserve abuse or hatred cos he wanted more cash elsewhere. He had no affinity for the club like we do. The manner he did it left a bad taste but its done and we got bloody well paid as a result. People take club allegiance way too far.

I think alot of us were of the same opinion, although to be fair he hasn't done alot of the crazy laugh at Mario stuff he did at City while he's been here. But he hasn't done anything on the pitch either.

Here's a probably unpopular opinion.

I am, in the grand scheme of things, not too unhappy with Mario staying, if we offload Lambert and Borini I think he's actually not a bad person to have in back up, plus I reckon I actually brings in a fair bit of revenue.

Yes he's lazy, and hasn't been great so far, but he wouldn't be top of my outgoings list as he would be for some people.
