I wanted it as I thought it would prevent errors by officials. I still think it could do that but we need to see and hear the VAR official. Same as rugby - they need to talk it through together to get the right decision.
This clear and obvious application of the technology is a ****ing joke. I thought it would bring transparency but they seem not to want to embarrass their refereeing buddiesComment

Just need to outsource it to aomwhere impartial and erm, better.
The so-called bar is too high as the media like to say. In time I think it'll right itself. They do seem to have sorted out offsides bar the odd issue. But the subjective stuff is nowhere near right. E.g. The man u foul wasn't overruled even though the ref didn't see it.Comment

So the blue line is close to villa players knee, bobbies hand is further away from the line than his knee, which is in front of his armpit, yet his armpit is closer to the line than the villa players knee??
