Due to working from home this is the first WC that I could watch every single minute of football since Italia 90.

I'll be watching every game I can because I love football and hate politics."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

I hope the viewing figures for this WC are an all time low as if there's changes to be made it's by hitting the likes of FIFA in the pocket and the tv revenue money will be where it hurts the most!
That’s how I feel about it too. It’s hard for me to give a stuff about players that I strongly dislike succeeding even when they are in the same international team as our players.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

If fans/players/respective FA's and media/sponsors really cared they would all boycott the world cup leaving Qatar with nothing but empty stadia....but this isn't a perfect world we live in... We are all hypocrites to some degree just trying to get on with our daily routines...Last edited by Bender; 16-11-22, 11:32 AM.

Where in Wales are you?Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

I won't be watching it.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostWhat is everyone doing regarding the WC? Will you be watching or boycotting or simply not arsed?
I don't like international football, and barely watch it but the WC is usually special. This time I really don't care partly because of the situation in Qatar, partly because of when it is and partly my apathy to international football, won't be able to boycott it as will be spending a couple of weeks with the in laws while it's on and they will be watching.Oh I don't know.

My plan, and I'm resolute about it at the minute, is to not watch. But I know how suggestible I am and with no other football on I'm well aware I'll be susceptible to being sucked in.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostWhat is everyone doing regarding the WC? Like most here I couldn't care less about international football most of the time, but I do succumb to some extent to the hype of a tournament. My hype level at the minute is 0%. Literally zero. But it could change. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
