Jeez, drop down a few, then you will seek leisure centres - Fylde is a good day out but expensive for a padded seat, Did Charnock Richard the other week in the Norther Counties, freezing but a great day, ticket, 3 pints and pie all for under £20.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostHaha which one? I've been to watch Chesterfield home and away a few times since lockdown revived my interest (when you could pay to watch every game - I watched them in my youth). Good side
could go up.
I make no apologies, this is me

Unsworth (Oldham) lives near me, Joey Barton was right, he's a big fella, saw them against Wrexham a few weeks ago, can't see anyone past Wrexham for that top stop this season.Originally posted by Norbs View PostBromley, my home town club. Been going regularly for 35 years
It's such a good league now. Oldham are the first team that's played in the PL to drop down in to it. Notts County, Wrexham, Chesterfield, Southend, Halifax, Torquay and S****horpe all fighting to get out and only one automatic promotionI make no apologies, this is me

Ha. Yeah I watch West Didsbury & Chorlton - my local club just round the corner - in the North West Counties Premier. Great day out. They get crowds of over 1000, great ale and food and all very reasonable. The older I get, and with the way top level football is going, that end of the game appeals more and more.Originally posted by Deano View PostJeez, drop down a few, then you will seek leisure centres - Fylde is a good day out but expensive for a padded seat, Did Charnock Richard the other week in the Norther Counties, freezing but a great day, ticket, 3 pints and pie all for under £20.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

They are now hiding the beer tents at/near the stadia so as not to offend the locals, after orders from on high.
I bet Budweiser are happy
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
