Salad? I know it's been a while since I went to a match, but I don't think I have ever seen salad as the football fan's food of choice, also not a usual accompaniment for a beer

Max of 4 beers also or they cut your hands off.

Best part of £50 for 4 pints of bud

The distrupters are ready. Like a pod of orca milling about waiting for the fat seals to enter the water.

Just when I think that country couldn't possibly get any worse, they start selling Budweiser. Is there no end to this savage barbarity !!! Let us hope they aren't selling Ready Salted crisps as well.

Go and start a poll on crisps...

ready salted are the rock that all other crisps flavours were built on

Hopefully this doesn’t end well for FIGA or the Qataris!

I assume that Budweiser have some deal with FIFA about being the beer of the WC. If they aren't allowed to sell their product then presumably there will be legal ramifications. I don't like Budweiser but hopefully they sue FIFA over this **** show. Only a couple of days before the tournament starts and they still haven't sorted this out. Obviously there were always going to be issues with alcohol and alcohol sponsorship etc but they have had years to sort this stuff out and get it into legal contracts etc

Something like this (a potential fall out from a sponsor) will have more impact on FIFA than any complaints about human rights abuse or gay rights etc. All FIFA care about is money

Exactly that. Alcohol sales were banned inside Brazilian stadiums due to crowd troubles but FIFA demanded they be allowed for 2014.
