The problem with the statement “these women match commentators are utterly dull and boring” is that it could imply they are dull and boring because they are women.

Or maybe it could simply be that the particular women/commentators/panelists they are putting on are in fact, dull and boring & not because they are women but because their simply just utterly dull and boring

In their big shake up to promote diversity & inclusivity the likes of Sky, BBC, BT, ITV and RTE got rid of them oul skool lads and changed it up ... unfortunately when they changed it up, the shows just got ****ter.

Yes that might be the case, that’s why I said ‘could’.

Most of the male commentators are absolutely ****e but it’s unlikely you would hear people using their gender to describe them, ie ‘these male commentators are ****e’.

The fact that gender is being used as a descriptor for women commentators when you wouldn’t do the same for their male counterparts is what you need to be aware of.
