Thats true i dont get the way he siad he wont play abroad thats just pance.Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostI wouldn't say anything is deffo when it comes to quoting players. They say what their agents want them to say. If Chavski offered him 25 million a year plus a private jet and pilot he'd change his mind.

He didn't have any long term plans for Kromkamp or Pellegrino.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Funny game football tho, we'll just have to wait and see on this cos nothings ever set in stone is it.
Well apart from things which are set in stone, but they usually aren't football players, or anything to with football in general, except maybe an award or some other such thing which can be set in stone, so let's just say, that I don't recall what I was actually talking about in the first place.Thomas Hicks Senior

Yep I agree with you there but the point I was trying to make is that they'll demand every last penny that they can get. I was asked for confirmation that I knew they were after at least £25,000,000 and I think that just about confirms it.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

"We have no intention of selling him. But should any club be interested, they could sit down and negotiate his buy-out clause, which is currently worth €150 million" (£100 million).
We went trough this with Gerrard. Everyone has a price, including Villa and it is not 100 m
The quote above sounds to me like he has a price and they are willing to sell if the price is right.
On if he wants to move or not all Im saying is we dont know. I dont know how many times he has said that he does not want to play in England and you could be absolutely right in believing that.
All Im really saying is that IMO people on here have been a bit to pessimistic about Villa joining us.

You're right that they won't get £100,000,000 but you asked for confirmation that they wanted a huge sum of money and I think that just about confirms it. They have a player who has shown no desire to move to another club and has a contract until 2013 so they can demand every last penny they want which would be round about if not more than £25,000,000.
It's not pessemism it's realism.Babel fanclub member # 4!!!

Judging by what Rafa has said about Villa do you think he would pay 25 m?Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostYou're right that they won't get £100,000,000 but you asked for confirmation that they wanted a huge sum of money and I think that just about confirms it.
