Judging by what Rafa has said about Villa do you think he would pay 25 m?

If we had the cash then it's possible he would. If it would get in the way of other deals, like the Alves deal in the summer, then he would walk away from the deal IMHO.

David Villa is a superb player but I think we have to be realistic he will not become a Liverpool player. I'd be amazed if he did. He has mates at LFC so he was obvioulsy there to see them play and catch up with them whilst he was on his winter break.

This is a nothing story and the only person who stated that Villa got VIP treatment was Dunk. That alone says that it's bollocks.

No point discussing a player no matter how good he is until we have atleast put an offer in for him, to many people getting excited over a player we havnt got, remember players like Collymore, Diouf, Camara, Morientes, Meijer, Heskey, Baros, Dundee, some of those players were supposingly to take us to the next step and I was quite excited about quite a few of those, makes me laugh now though, I have great faith in Rafa to bring in the right players for the right price.
