My shopping list is huge this weekend, need to go to Tesco quickly.

As for what I'd like to bull**** to my neighbour about is my wish shopping list for a mansion in the country, a bentley and a ferrari in the garage, a chopper for match days, a huge exec suite at anfield, a little place on the south of france with a nice yacht, wonder if that little lot blows him away as well, about as unreal as West Hams "shopping list of players we want"!!

I can understand that Lucas, Matthew Upson, Nigel Quashie, Luis Boa Morte, Calum Davenport are hardly world beaters but you still took the money.

FFS fredo, I've hinted at it plenty of times. Do I have to come right out and say it?

              It's double L.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Maybe he /was/ SHOUTING at you after all?

Fredo - single L in first name, double L in surname/family name if that makes it clearer?

Neill agrees to West Ham switch

Blackburn offered Neill a new deal but he has refused to sign it
Blackburn defender Lucas Neill has agreed to join West Ham, spurning Liverpool because they could not guarantee him first team football.
The Australia international confirmed he will move in an interview with Sydney's Sunday Telegraph.

He could cost £1.5million but earn £60,000 a week at the Hammers - twice the salary on offer at Liverpool.

But Neill said: "It wasn't about cash - that didn't come into it. It was about being wanted."

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez was said to be angered by reports that Neill, 28, whose contract is up next summer, was pondering a move to Upton Park.

He was prepared to offer left-back Stephen Warnock in part exchange but ended his interest when he heard Neill was pondering going to West Ham.

It was an extremely hard decision but I know it's the right one

                        Lucas Neill

But Neill said: "West Ham were knocking down the door to get me whereas Liverpool made a take or leave it offer.

"They didn't even come in for me until 15 days after the transfer window opened.

"People who have raised their eyebrows at me for making this decision are in for a surprise because West ham have a shopping list of players which almost blew me away.

"People have said I put money before medals and how could I make a sideways move like this and not go to a club like Liverpool, who are always in the hunt for trophies and so much prestige.

"It was an extremely hard decision but I know it's the right one.

"West Ham moved heaven and earth to sign me while Liverpool gave me the impression that I might not even get a game if I went there.

"I supported them as a kid and I know people are going to give me stick for not choosing them."
They've won the league, bigger stars than Dallas, they've got more silver than Buckhingham Palace, no one knows quite what to expect, when the Red Machine's in full effect!

Who's going to want him when WHU go down, he then exercises his right to be released utilising the clause in his contract, I only hope he thinks long & hard when playing in The Championship next year whilst we are playing in the group stages of The CL.

                              What a knob. :whatever:

Blackburn's Lucas Neill claims money was not the reason for his decision to snub Liverpool and sign for West Ham.

Neill has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal worth a reported £60,000-a-week with The Hammers, and will sign for a fee of around £1.5million.

The 28-year-old, whose Rovers contract had just six months left to run, claims to have been 'blown away' by the ambition of The Hammers' new owner Eggert Magnusson.

However his decision to turn down a move to UEFA Champions League hopefuls Liverpool in favour of a more lucrative move to the East End strugglers have led some to question Neill's ambition.

"It wasn't about cash - that didn't come into it," Neill told Sydney's Sunday Telegraph. "It was about being wanted. West Ham were knocking down the door to get me whereas Liverpool made a take it or leave it offer and didn't even come in for me until 15 days after the transfer window opened.

West Ham moved heaven and earth to sign me while Liverpool gave me the impression that I might not even get a game if I went there.

"I supported them as a kid and I know people are going to give me stick for not choosing them."

Neill revealed his meeting with Magnusson clinched the deal.

"What he said almost knocked me off my feet," said Neill.

"He told me I'm the first of many (new signings) earmarked for the club.

"I can be part of something big here. West Ham are very well supported. They just happen to be at the wrong end of the table at the moment but I hope to play my part in helping remedy that."
