Has this been posted already? I really can't be arsed reading through 7 pages of "well Lucas Neill can **** off" posts!!
Source: Sly SportsLiverpool was widely thought to have been the wantaway Blackburn defender's destination, but on Wednesday night he agreed terms on a lucrative contract with The Hammers.
Alan Curbishley is desperate to strengthen his team for their fight against relegation and has offered attractive terms to Neill, though The Hammers are reported still to be negotiating with Rovers.
"Lucas has agreed terms on a two-and-a-half year deal with West Ham and is looking forward to the challenge ahead," Neill's agent Peter Harrison is quoted in The Times.
Neill's decision to choose The Hammers over Liverpool will exasperate Reds boss Rafa Benitez who hinted for the first time on Wednesday that a deal for Neill had hit a stumbling block. There is a light that never goes out. RIP Alan "Mally" Johnston and the 96. YNWA.

HUGHES WILL LUC TO FUTURE
By Alan Nixon And Neil McLeman
BLACKBURN boss Mark Hughes has blocked skipper Lucas Neill's move to West Ham - and will put him in his side against Manchester City tomorrow.
The Australian had agreed a £60,000-a-week deal with the Premiership strugglers after rejecting a move to Liverpool. But Blackburn had wanted to do business with the Anfield club after agreeing a swap deal with Steven Warnock to fill the left-back vacancy.
West Ham are still looking for more defensive cover despite completing the £3million signing of Calum Davenport from Tottenham yesterday.
But Neill will not be allowed to leave until Hughes has found a replacement - and he is waiting on a foreign trialist coming next week before he finds that possible solution. Rovers have turned down taking Paul Konchesky in exchange from West Ham.
Hughes said: "We have not had an acceptable deal and he can't go until there is a deal on the table that I find acceptable."
Centre-back Matthew Upson remains a possibility for West Ham after Birmingham admitted they had rejected a £4m bid earlier this week.
The Championship leaders are reluctant to sell and Arsenal are entitled to 25 per cent of any transfer over £2.5m.Go **** yourself
