Right lets get one thing straight here, judging by the opinions of the vast majority of liverpool fans, Lucas Neill wasn't a player we wanted(i did but most didn't), in fact i doubt he'd have been accepted by some fans because of his past with us(breaking Carra's leg etc) now that he's turned us down he's been getting aload of flak for doing so.
It is rather funny i must say.

I think the reason he did not join is quite obvious. Rafa will not assure him a first team place and Curbishley will. Add to that the alleged difference in pay and there you have it, easy decision.
Also, West Ham is closer to Earls Court

'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
West Ham's new signing Lucas Neill is set to be out of action for around two weeks with the ankle injury picked up on his debut.
