Indeed, but surely with their assets the loans will be more low risk, meaning the terms will be more favourable and interest payments etc lower? I mean in comparison to loans Gillett and Hicks negotiate

I mean with all their assets, I dont see how Hicks and Gillett can afford to pay for the shares, the debt, the stadium and Rafa's transfer kitty.

Yes it does seem sensible, so why won't Hicks who has far less money do that!

I can confirm to everyone that Mr Moores has had his directors and Mr Hicks and Gillete at his home in Halsall for the past 2 nights,
I am glad he was able to confirm what was in the echo

Because he's not an investment corporation, he's a private investor and he can make decisions about how to underwrite the cost of the stadium without it being a complicated process.

Interest payments might be lower, but if Hicks and Gillett agree to underwrite the cost, and DIC don't, Gillett and Hicks are going to have lower interest payments.
What you say makes sense IF DIC had agreed to underwrite it, which we are led to beieve, they refused to do.

As its been said many a time on here, we dont and wont know what is actually happening in terms off the finance and what Liverpool,Gillette and Hicks are doing within the walls of offices in Collardo ,Dallas and Liverpool until its made public.

Whats certain is none of the 3 are fools so i think they will do the best for us.

So will sit tight and see how this unfolds

Plus I would imagine there's a chance he will be staying with the club in some capacity
Of course he is....and getting a lot of money.

I just hope it is the best deal for the club.

Lets face facts here, just because Moores loves the club doesn't make him a good chairman. he has presided over he worst period of success since the 1960's. When he became Chairman we were the best team in the country now look at us. he was responsible for Souness for the debacle that was Evans & GH. he didn't have the balls to sack souness, evans or GH when he should have done. Now the great DIC cock up.

He was however, LFC through & through & always gave managers his full financial backing. As a bloke I like Moores, as a Chairman he's distinctly average I'm afraid.
